As part of our medically integrated approach at NorthPointe Wellness, we offer a team of certified fitness specialists, dietitians and health educators to help you achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Our Registered Dietitian provides Nutrition Counseling programs to our members and the Rockford and Beloit area community.
Any time is perfect time to stop making excuses and “get fit” from the inside out. While you may be successfully committed to a routine fitness training schedule, your dietary habits could be the cause of your non-weight loss, ailments, fatigue, allergy symptoms, or even medical condition. Whether you’re trying to lose weight or improve your health, eating the right foods is vitally important. Working with our Registered Dietitian to develop a nutrition plan can benefit your overall health and help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
“We can help individuals understand the basics of healthy eating,” says Lauren Moore, NorthPointe Wellness Registered Dietitian. “Our nutritional counseling program provides guidance on how to make dietary changes that will benefit you for a lifetime.”
Participants begin by meeting with a dietitian to examine current eating habits and food intake as well as any health conditions that may impact nutrition, including:
Our NorthPointe dietitian can offer practical advice on issues such as food preparation, portion control, grocery shopping, deciphering food labels, and incorporating fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products and proteins into daily eating.
Dietitian Consultation: Our Registered Dietitian can assist you with weight loss, disease treatment, disease prevention, sports nutrition, and general healthy eating.

“Nutrition and exercise go hand in hand, so in addition to focusing on diet we also recommend regular physical activity, says Moore.
