Hi! My name is Amy Dal Santo. I graduated in May 2018 from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in Nutrition. I am also a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and an ACE Certified cycling instructor. I have had experience with corporate wellness as well as the general population, including younger and older adults. My experiences have provided me with endless opportunities to help people live a healthier life, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I am a firm believer that physical activity is a core component for an individual’s overall wellbeing and I am humbled by the fact that I get the chance to help someone every day at NorthPointe! The field of exercise and fitness is ever-changing, and I am always looking for research and other certifications to not only better myself, but more importantly, give clients the most up-to-date information and really make their training worthwhile. Outside of NorthPointe, I enjoy helping out on our family farm, spending time with my family, and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
My name is Andrea; I have been a part of the NorthPointe Wellness team from the beginning! It has been a great experience starting with the gym from the early planning phases and seeing everything come together and grow into the unique facility that it is today. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Movement Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sport Medicine. I truly enjoy working with all ages and abilities. I have experience with seniors that strive to improve quality of living and other components such as balance and strength. I also enjoyed working with a younger population during my Fit Camp for Kids during the summer. On a personal note, I am a new mother, so I understand the importance of exercise during and after pregnancy. I love what I do, and it is my goal to help others understand and enjoy exercise as much as I do.
Hi, I am Janette! I am pleased to say I have been a part of the NorthPointe team since day one.
I believe being healthy is a lifestyle. To live a healthy life style one needs positive attitude, great support, and self-discipline to stay on track. It takes both healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle to stay happy and healthy. Being healthy can help you mentally and physically. Moderation is key, so you can still enjoy the good stuff! I enjoy working with all levels of people. I have helped kids stay active, teaching youth wellness & weight loss in the Poconos. I developed baby and me class and stroller and strength here at NorthPointe. Outside NorthPointe you can see me running half marathons and various boot camp style/ muddy races. My passion is helping people reach their fitness goals by encouragement and finding the support system they need to make that happen. As a trainer, I too, find my own support system for living a healthy lifestyle. Beyond Fitness- As a mother of 3, I do enjoy being active with my family including bike rides and races. I love spending time with my kids and husband, game nights, baking, planning local fitness events, and coffee.

Hi, I'm Andy. I'm excited to be a part of the NorthPointe fitness team. I graduated from Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science. After graduation, I completed my internship at Advance Physical Therapy in Carthage, IL, where I developed skills in working with those needing rehabilitation. I am certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Exercise Physiologist. I really enjoy helping others and seeing them improve physically. I truly believe that exercise helps a person feel better both mentally and physically. I look forward to helping those in this community live a more healthy lifestyle.
Hello! My name is Steph and I am excited to be back with the North Pointe fitness team. With that being said, let me tell you a bit about myself. I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in Health Promotion and Wellness with a minor in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. There, I found my passion in preventative care through multiple dimensions of wellness. I have experience with behavior change coaching, community-based programming, group exercise and personal training. I am an ACSM certified personal trainer with background training, adolescent, adult and older populations. My journey throughout life has brought me to NorthPointe numerous times which include; being a patient, an intern and eventually becoming a member of the fitness team. I understand the process of beginning a new wellness lifestyle and I am in fact here to help you create just that; a lifestyle. Hello, my name is Nicole, and I feel so blessed to be a part of the NorthPointe family. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Indianapolis. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through ACTION. Everyday, I choose to live my life in a way that puts wellness first (mental, physical, and emotional), and I plan to continue that with my career at NorthPointe through educating and motivating others to become their best selves. Not only do I encourage a healthy diet and safe exercise on land, but I also am certified to teach swim lessons in the water because water safety is a top priority of mine. You will all get the opportunity to enjoy me on my pregnancy journey and there is so much to learn about safe antepartum and postpartum exercising. I hope to share the knowledge that I learn with those who are interested. There are many benefits to all kinds of exercise, and I am interested in pursuing as many of those avenues as I can to be able to reach as many people as I can. You will notice that my passion and excitement for wellness (health and fitness) just pours out of me! I love learning new information and being challenged, so feel free to ask questions any time! When I'm not at NorthPointe, I enjoy crocheting, learning new things, remodeling the house with my husband, and enjoying our first baby.
Hello, I’m Michael. I began training full time for a living in 1999, and I’ve been involved in health and fitness as far back as I can remember. My earliest memory is, at the age of 8, taking 2 empty milk cartons, filling them with water and taping one on each end of a broomstick to make myself a barbell. I worked out with that broomstick for a few weeks until my father noticed how serious I was taking exercise. Then he purchased me my first set of plastic grey Joe Weider weights that were filled with cement. Lol. I share this story to illustrate that fitness wasn’t a passion that I stumbled across, or even developed over time, but that I was born this way. If I cannot persuade you into realizing that taking care of yourself is your obligation, responsibility, and a way of life, then I have failed my purpose. I receive the greatest amount of joy when someone makes the transition from non-active or recreational exerciser to someone who values taking better care of themselves. This involves a certain degree of selfishness, but your loved ones benefit from this form of selfishness. Trust me, you’re worth it! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Northwest Missouri State University. I am also certified in Personal Training by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). I have a couple of decades of experience in training age ranges from 18 to 70. I have also, trained local MMA fighters and other athletes. I teach group exercise classes with an emphasis on cardio contact kickboxing. I have no other hobbies other than, you guessed it, working out. I enjoy spending time with my wife and children of course. If I’m not working out I’m reading about it, watching it, or helping someone else work out. My strength is my ability to be flexible with my programming but firm on accomplishing your goals. Because ultimately, my goal is to get you to your goal. Significant changes are rarely made without the proper support system in place. And I want to be part of your support system.
